UNIFIED FAMILY SERVICES is a teen transport service that specializes in transporting troubled teens to a range of programs; including residential treatment centers, boarding schools, therapeutic schools, wilderness programs, military schools, boot camps or rehabilitation centers. As a professional and sound organization we have been able to acquire a variety of skilled professionals.

Team UFS is comprised of a variety of backgrounds, qualifications and experience, such as: Degrees in Business, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice and Public Administration; former youth direct care staff, former parents of a troubled teen, program manager, Physician Assistants, Fire Fighters, EMT certified, Paramedics, Alternative School Teachers, Law Enforcement Officers, Parole Officers, Social Workers, Trained and Certified Security Guards, Counselors, State Correction Officers and Deputy Sheriffs.

Availability:

UFS understands, "It's not the big that eat the small…but the fast that eats the slow!" UFS is available 24/7 for immediate response and service to all parents and Program Coordinators, with Agents nationwide.

Experience:

UFS has a combined 29 years of teen transport experience, 45 years of law enforcement experience and 13 years experience working at teen programs.

Transition Perspective:

This is a "transition" period for each student. We are not FedEx or UPS, the teen is not a package. By sending the most compatible Agents we can better prepare and empower the teen for what to expect upon arrival to the program.

Training:

UFS Agents endure 40+ hours of classroom training with continuing education each year. Each Agent is trained in Positive Control Systems (PCS) and in Juvenile Control Tactics. In addition, each Agent receives in-field training with Training Agents. UFS attends all National and many Regional Conferences for The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and then further educates all Agents on related topics and programs.

Licensed/Insured:

UFS is fully insured with professional insurance that covers the services of transporting troubled youth and insured additionally as a Private Contract Security Company. Furthermore, UFS is licensed with the Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing (DOPL) as a Professional Contract Security Company.
